Well, someone has to keep the fourm going...

I recall seeing a ZMFX mounted vertical on a stand. I typically play my basses on stands. Would there be a portion of solid wood on the backside, say 1/3 from the controls end, where a largish threaded insert could be mounted?? Im picturing playing the thing like a standup bass.

Hey, yes this basically a library now since everybody moved over to Facebook Zendrummers chat.

Yes, I'm sure there is enough wood on the ends to screw in some kind of mount.
One guy did exactly what you're talking about for the upright bass approach.
I think he used one of the NS bass mounts in fact.

Huzzah. Ill checkout the fb page. Is the ZMFX available in rock maple finish?

Ths is the basic idea. @ 48", its close to the length of the NS DB
