Overcoming skepticism
« on: July 30, 2014, 07:18:22 PM »

I recently started playing with a duo - guitar and vocals - and in the initial discussions, mentioned that I play the Zendrum. I listed all the advantages, etc, but they were very skeptical. So I did my first rehearsal and gig with an acoustic kit (cocktail kit - which in itself led to some raised eyebrows).
Anyway, took the Zendrum to practice yesterday ahead of my second gig with them - and they were blown away.
So, it looks like Paisley Door will now be powered by Zendrum!
I also use the Zendrum with two other bands, but both were more accepting from the outset.
And for the record, I tend to use BFD3 and Addictive Drums via a MacBook pro, through a Presonus FireStudio mobile. I do have a wireless set-up as well, but don't really like taking audio out from the Mac.
