Got my Zendrum back all souped up by Inspector 109.  It is awesome.  Thanks to everyone at Zendrum for such good work and product support.

It's nice to see them come back in such good condition as yours was.
Our pleasure, sir.
Call me if if you need help with any of the new stuff.

You know, you commented the same when I sent mine in to go Z4.  It just makes me wonder - what awful condition do you get some of these things in?

What was the worse one and was it repairable? Thumper

Oh sure, yes, it was repairable.
I've had to suit up with rubber gloves and douse a couple of them in an alcohol bath before I wanted to touch them. Made me wonder if these people ever wash their hands. Yuck.

I saw one (owner unnamed to protect the innocent!) that was actually missing not only lacquer and paint, but some of the WOOD.  Now I happen to know that this guy actually tours with his 2 Zendrums, but this one was in BADDD shape my friends.  And I know I don't have to tell anyone, but I played it, and it still played like a million bucks.

I ran into a guy that has 4 ZX's, and just bought a new "Old" stlye ZX.  One of them is the old plastic model that Zendrum no longer makes.  One other ZX is wood which he still uses, and 2 others are for parts.  I almost cried when he told me that, I almost wanted to buy them off of him and have them brought back to life, but for now, I know where they are and I am happy with mine.
