Good practice module

???  Wondering what would be a good practice module?  Boss DR-3, Alesis SR-16 or any ideas.  It would be nice to be able to input a cd player, however don't want to spend a lot of $$$ on it, just something to bring with me to work, camping or whatever.  I guess if it has a decent variety of built in music grooves that would be fine.  Any ideas would be welcome.

Zoom MRT 3B. $99.00 and it's battery powered. Sounds decent even through a PA. I used mine live a few times as a backup.
Cheers,

I use the Boss DR-3 for practice. It sounds decent enough and is battery powered.
