I don't have a Zendrum, but...

...I will soon!

Getting a Laptop!     Getting a Laptop!     Getting a Laptop!                      (Can you tell I'm excited about it?)

Congrats Chris, Welcome to the tribe. Whenever someone gets a new Zendrum, they are required to communicate their name, rank, and serial number. In this case, model (ZX), woods used, and other peripheral equiptment that you plan to use to complete yourself. Good Luck, Mark

Avast Thar matey,

Congratulations on a fine decision to become a member of the crew.  Let us know when you get your instrument and be sure to post pictures.

Jude!  I was wondering how long it would take before you showed up over here.  Welcome!  Please post pics of the LT when she arrives.  You are now officially in the 'Zestation' period...the hardest part about deciding to buy a Zendrum  ;)  Be prepared for endless hours of fun!

Chris Jude, Tribal Pledge, ZX.  Because I'm lucky enough to have so many different modules and software packages because of my involvement with electronic percussion in general, I get to try it wiith all kinds of stuff.

However, I've long been a proponent of what software can be capable of (and I test for follks like Toontrack, fxpansion and Native Instruments and others), so one of the things I'll be doing is creating maps and presets and working on more plug and play support for the Zendrum along those lines.  I use primarily software instruments and effects in my home studio (for all instruments except human voice), including all my various electronic drum kits, pads and multipad devices, and in my mobile rig for clinics as well.

Well... here's my Zendrum...

This pic doesn't really capture the colors or gloss or the holographic sparkles but I just had to "proud daddy" a quick shot.
