Admin,

Concerning the ZX stand/holder.........

Does Zendrum have them, make them, or sell them? I see the stand for the ZX on the main Zendrum website, but I don't see them for sale there anywhere.
Just wondering.

My peg/screw came loose last night and I had to take the strap off (the screw just slowly turned out, I think becasue of the strap twisting; its not stripped or anything. When I tightened up the screw afterward it was just fine, tightening down real snug, and not stripped). I sat with it on my lap, and after a short bit I found I was able to play some riffs with much less trouble, so I am considering playing that way in a few songs. The stand would be a lot easier than my lap!

Thanks,
Rand

I think they stopped selling those a while ago.  There haven't been any major breakthroughs on a stand-to-play stand for the ZX since then, unless you have a convenient table nearby.

Jer,

Thanks for the info. I guess there really is no great call for the stands otherwise I'm sure Zendrum would be selling them. Guess I'll have to come up with something on my own. Ah, ingenuity, the mother of invention! Oh, wait... maybe that was Frank Zappa?

You might be able to get one of those standing guitar stands and manipulate the holder to fit the shape of the ZX, just a thought.

Here's another option:

I've been meaning to investigate this for myself but haven't found one to demo yet.  Seems like all four of those stoppers are adjustable; I think you could mold them to fit a ZX.  I wouldn't advise tilting it vertical as per wearing a strap, but for tabletop-style playing it's an option.

Jaay,

That actually looks pretty good and may just do the trick.  I am going to give that one some serious consideration. Although I have to admit it looks waaaay cooler with the Zendrum strapped to you.

Yeah, I think that would totally work.  It would be a good idea to put some industrial velcro on there to prevent scratches, and droppage!
