Zendrum ZAP improv using Allaire SDX for Toontrack S2
« on: February 27, 2009, 02:02:55 PM »

Here's a quick improv I did on my Zendrum ZAP and my HATPedal through an Alesis Trigger io.

Allaire Improv 1

I mixed in a bit of room and processed with UAD plugs and then ran the whole thing through an Avalon 747 bus compressor.

I played through a couple of different grooves and then played a bit on each kit piece individually to hear things separated.

I just got my Zendrum in December '08, so please be kind!

Hey Scott!
That sounds really good man.
Nothing to be apologizing for in your playing either!
Bonzo would be proud.
Where's Jimmy Page when you need him?
Which kit is that?

It's a kit from the new expansion pack from Toontrack for Superior Drummer 2.

The New York Studio Legacy Series Vol.2: The Lost New York Studios

It includes kits from the Hit Factory and Allaire Studio. Both have closed since we recorded there. Thus the 'Lost New York Studios' title.

Thanks for the kind words on my playing! I'm getting better...
