I am from India.

I am interested in Zendrum ZX. I wanted to order it in few days.

I have few quarries, before i order it.

Does the touch triggers on the zendrum supports multi-touch? I mean, if I hit a trigger wit one of my figure and rest the figure on the same trigger and hit the same trigger with another finger, does the trigger respond?

To get a better idea i need to check the user manual. Where can i get a user manual of zendrum ZX?

Hello fellow Zendrummers. After having my EXP for a couple of weeks I finally got my new Laptop this week. I downloaded ZenEdit and BFD Eco and I must say ZenEdit is a terrific piece of software. It took me a few hours to get my preliminary Midi mapping where I wanted it but I suspect I'll change it a few more hundred times. I converted my two Pearl double bass pedals into E-pedals using Alternate Mode eHat controllers and they work fine. Now it's time to practice, practice, and more practice.

Update: My EXP just arrived today 7/23 and my first impressions when I took it out of the Gig bag was "WOW" over and over again. This thing is so stunningly gorgeous I don't want to touch it and get fingerprints on it. I must thank David Haney for going above and beyond on my setup which was quite challenging. It took some unorthodox internal wiring to the EXP. Next step order my Laptop.

Hello fellow Zendrummers I'm new to this forum and I find the info here very useful. I just ordered a Honey Burst EXP last week and the excitement is keeping me awake at night. David Haney was so so helpful in answering all my questions and I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I'm maybe not being clear or I'm misunderstanding your reply.  I'm not talking about somehow turning the midi out into a midi in, I'm talking about doing some sort of midi to usb conversion and sending midi from the zendrum into the module usb port.  If one of these modules is plugged into a computer, it can receive midi from a sequencing program like Logic or Digital performer so it seems possible.

The manuals would indicate a 'no'.  There is no mention of MIDI IN or playback of recordings made via MIDI OUT.  Perhaps more telling though is there is no MIDI implementation chart.

Is there a way to make a zendrum work with the newer modules (Roland TD-25, TD-15, etc) that don't have midi in?  I know Alternate Mode sells midi to usb cables to go directly into your computer.  Could a cable like that go directly into the module to receive midi?
