Hey Rand, no videos, but I may see some photos soon from that gig.
I'll put them up somewhere if I do.

Cool. I'd like to see your feetzas too so I can figure out your combinations.
Give the drummer some!

Tech Help / Re: Zendrumdrive
« on: April 15, 2012, 07:40:04 AM »
Just did a gig yesterday that tested the limits of what I have designed Zendrumdrive to be all about.
Played Atlanta Steeplechase for 1000 sponsors under a huge tent in the middle of a field with the entire band running off one small Honda generator. Full-out rock show for three hours using wireless Zendrum. If ever anything was going to kill a Zendrumdrive or make a wireless unit act screwy, this was going to be it. I've played this gig for many years and amps and mixers usually go crazy with the little jobsite generator's unstable brown power. Happy to report we all survived without incident or any problems except for gasoline fumes and dust in my lungs today.
Crowd went home after two encores buzzed and happy.
We were hired again on the spot for next year.
I win.

I'll tell you why-
I just realized today that I've been a working drummer for 40 freakin' years now.
I've always had to make the show go on, even if I didn't have another bass drum head.
I've got your back. Don't sweat it.

New users can have access to the forum, they just can't post EXCEPT through me.

Sorry to hear about your mishap.
There have been plenty of people who have knocked big chunks of wood out of their Zendrums and had them still function just fine.
Remember Jaay, I said LIFETIME warranty, and I never asked you to treat it like it was eggs.
I'll send my cell phone by pm and we can get another cap out to you today.

3800 AVATARS DELETED/DEFEATED TODAY BY GEOSPHERE.
They're not giving up without a fight.
Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?

There's a big difference between wanting something to happen and making it happen.
Darin took the initiative and devoted a big chunk of his time and talent to this huge and awesome effort.
All I did was use it when it was done. He's earned everybody's respect, especially mine.

Thanks everybody for posting!
While this arrangement isn't perfect, it's what we ALL DO that matters now.
There are still sharks in the water, but Geo has beaten them back like the true Zendrum champion he really is.
If we're willing to help and encourage and learn from each other we will beat these worthless bastards together.
If YOU want this forum to survive- take it back from them RIGHT NOW.

Hey Dub-
I agree! Now that we've moved to Windows 7 64 in the Zendrumdrive and upped the extra ram to 8 gig-
It's blazingly fast and accurate. Our TRS sounds are playing really smoothly, too!
Ya gotta love technology when it works!

If you're already a member, then just please post as usual.
Nobody new can post. Geo has shut that down for good.
That sucks because a Forum is supposed to be for everybody to participate.
BUT, now at least- all of YOU guys can communicate together again AND
the spammer rat can not get through.
I can't tell you how many people say they read every post here before they decide.
It's this community that makes the Zendrum different than anything else and I thank you all for hanging in there.

Isn't it nice not to see the spam notifications every day from idiots with no purpose in life except to ruin our forum?
Now if all YOU WORTHWHILE HUMANS would post again we could keep this knowledge base going without having to move.
Newbies can ask their questions through me and I will be happy to post them up myself.
All you veterans can now post again without reservation.
Screw the terrorists. Be proactive Techno-Tribe!!!
