ZenChat / receptor case/stand
« on: March 10, 2007, 05:53:27 PM »
I ordered a freddy receptor pro and am wondering if anybody can give me some advice.  I want to put it on a stand similar to the gibraltar  bongo stand /custom zendrum stand top that you use to hold a zendrum.  I have one for my zendrum and it works great.  I am thinking of putting a 2 space rack/case on the stand top and put the receptor indside the case.  I want to have the receptor at least the same height as the zendrum so i don't have to kneel down to the floor if i have to adjust the receptor.  Any advice appreciated.
thanks

ZenChat / dm pro help!!
« on: December 25, 2006, 02:58:26 PM »
Hi, I am trying to put the sounds on my pretec fad008-p flash memory card and copy them to the user bank on my dmpro.  I am using soundbridge to put the wav sound files on the flash card and do not have any problems, but when I try to copy them to the user bank, the message "no program data at this bank' appears.  I know the sounds are on the card because I hear them on the dmpro. any suggestions?

thanks everyone for your input on the midi cable.    Mr Geo I don't know the play life of my batteries? I use rayovac rechargeable nimh.  I was wondering if a rechargable lithium ion is available like the ones used in power tools, and if there any better.
thanks again

ZenChat / slesis dm pro
« on: October 04, 2006, 04:12:53 PM »
Hi I have a alesis dmpro, and i want to play bass with my left hand and drums with my right hand.  the dmpro has a sound catergory "chromatic" that has slap bass (#82).
the dm pro also has a kit #60 called "two basses" which uses the slap bass #82 sound and the pitch changes according to the note number ex c,c#,d.  I have loaded kit 01 'bomham-kit" and have changed the drumkit trigger note numbers 48=c2,49=,c2#,50=d2,52=e2,55=g2 and ,57=a2 all to slap bass #82 and the pich of the bass does not change in relation to the  musical notes.  So I went to kit # 60 "double basses' and changed note36 to a kick drum and note 37 to a highhat and they will not trigger simutaneously or verbatum according to their original sounds. But, when i use cubase on my computer and trigger the dmpro with  the sequencer, the pitch changes fine.. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

ZenChat / receptor
« on: August 18, 2006, 02:39:35 PM »
HI I was looking at the back panel of the receptor and noticed it had a stereo output.  I wanted to have control of the levels  of each drum sound outside of the receptor  connecting the output  to a mackie mixer and controlling the sound levels of each drum sound.   Is their a way to do that with just the stereo output?

« on: July 13, 2006, 09:39:42 AM »
Hi, I noticed that  my dm pro has a power converter that steps the power down to 9 volts, I was wondering if the dehaas battery block that powers the zendrum  will run the dmpro?
thanks
