ZenChat / BFD2.1 at NAMM 2009
« on: January 09, 2009, 09:53:02 AM »

I'd like to extend an invitation to all of you going to NAMM.  Stop by booth 6910, FXPansion and check out the new features in BFD2.1.  This is an exciting time to be using the BFD2.1 program.  Many sample companies are choosing this platform for their sounds and releasing BFD2.1 compatible expansion packs. Additionally, I have over 80 GIG of new sounds being released in download form for BFD2.1!  The downloads should start becoming available next week.  These new sounds were put together with electronic drummers in mind adding some new articulations that will play nice on e-kits.  (I will post more info on these new exciting sounds next week.)

Speaking of e-kits, I will be using a combination set featuring the DTXtremeIII, Zendrum ZAP, and Mandala 2.0.  All of these instruments are in one set and control BFD2.1 "Live" in stand alone.  I will also be doing daily BFD2.1 Demos in the Yamaha booth.

Stop in and say hi.  It will be my pleasure to meet you.

Happy Holidays!

FXPansion is pleased to announce the new Decatom Expansion Pack for BFD2.

In the past we've had a lot of requests for a kit of Octobans or Deccabons.
10 total drums are included featuring hits with sticks and mallets.  Perfect for accents, these drums are also great for melodies and chords.

The expansion kit is available to download from the FXPansion's web-store.

For more information and audio demos check this link below:

This pack only takes about 5 minutes to download and install.

PS. The forum will still be monitored, but please be patietnt if you have any support requests during the Christmas period.  We are also spending time with friends and family!

Tech Help / New E-drumming section at FXpansion's forum
« on: November 28, 2008, 11:20:31 AM »
Hello all,

There has always been a large amount of edrummers using BFD. Between all of the various edrum related forums, audio forums, and electronic music forums it can be difficult to address all of the questions that pop up from time to time. As a result we have put an "Edrumming with BFD" thread together in the community section of our forum - http://www.fxpansion.com/forum/

This is in no way designed to stop the conversations that you are having here at Zendrum. In fact, we encourage them. By creating this new section, we should be able to help more people with various edrumming topics, as they relate to the use of BFD.
