Due to the word of his fellow tribesman and his extraordinary help on these forums, John Emrich has gained the title of Tribal Wizard.

This title will appear under his name, in addition to his 'post rating' title.

Hey, all.

We're on iTunes!

In this day of digital music, that makes us really happy.

So head on over, search for the band "Too Hip For The Room" and the album "Three Brothers"!  Give a listen.  Of course, if you want to buy a few tracks at 0.99 each or the whole album of 16 for $9.99, well, we'd be mighty appreciative of ya!

Music / Sampler of the next Too Hip For The Room CD
« on: May 29, 2006, 09:40:32 PM »
Too Hip For The Room will have our next CD - Three Brothers - out shortly.

This link is a sampler MP3 of some of what the CD will contain:

No loops, sequencing or anything, just real time Zendrum, one take.

These clips use an Alesis DMPro and an Emu PlanetPhatt chained.

I am not the lead vocalist, but any second male vocal is me.

One pad does a quick 16th note triplet bass drum run.  Or it plays a straight 4 hihat for a whole measure.

These 'cheats' make playing ZD easier and more impressive.  But is it still playing the instrument, or is it being a DJ or an operator?
