Pyrate, I am also playing my TD-20 out live until I get comfortable with the computer, Spent all day loading Superior SDX's as they were on sale for 99 dollars each. You have to buy them thru a music store online and not the Toontrack website. I have DP7 loaded as my host and will load BFD2 and Battery 3 as soon as I have a block of time. I set out for the calm seas of Key West next week for some r & r. I am very excited to get this software thing going and paying out live with it. Thumper

Nice video looks like y'all have fun, which is what it all about. What module/software are you using?  it sounded good to me also the video came out nice did you use 2 camera's and edit it yourself or did you have someone video it and put it togheter for you? I have been wanting to have a video of my band but have not yet purchased a HD video camera yet, maybe soon. Keep on gigging Thumper

Get used to the questions pyrate, it seems like they are at every gig. I am sure you did a fine job playing. Did you use your TD-20 or have you passed over to the software route. I am in the process of getting my computer rig set up but still play my TD-20 out live until I get comfortable with setting up and playing the computer. Life is good to have so many options. Thumper

So you are taking a 1/8" stereo  out the headphone jack of the computer then ?    XLR OR 1/4" to seperate left and and right to the PA or speakers? That seems like the easiest way to go to me but I have read many post using an audio interface of some kind. I am wondering what the advantages of doing it that way are?  Thumper

I am taking my time with it and really thinking on how I want to do this and go about seting it up. I have BFD2 ,just bought Superior 2 and I am thinking about getting a couple of the other sounds with it. I have Battery 3 that will be incorporated somehow also. I have just upgreade my Digital Performer 6 to 7 and it should be here next week and I am going to see if that can be my host. I am excited but have been working a lot so it will happen when it happens. thanks for asking Thumper

Congrats on the Mac.  Have fun with it, there will be a slight learning curve for sure if you are used to a PC Laptop.
Thanks Pocketmaster, I Have been a MAC user since the early 80''s so I can get around it pretty good. Thumper

I know when I talked with Inspector 109 a while back one of the reasons he made changing the way we change drumsets to a 2 button push process was to help eliminate what you are saying. Thumper
