Title: My Son's NYSSMA music competition
Post by: Geosphere on May 02, 2011, 09:16:07 AM
My son (12) didn't want to try a Level 3 snare solo for the NY music competitions, so he signed up for Level 2.  This is rolls, dotted sixteenths, lots of crescendo press rolls, sixteenth note runs with odd accents and such like that.

He just got his grade of Oustanding: 27 out of 28.

Wow.

Bravo Zulu to your son for making such a fine achievment.  Be proud!
